Badin Rams- 2011 Season Preview

Going 5-5 last season was good enough for the Badin Rams to get into the playoffs. They defeated Richmond North Union in the first round but lost to Coldwater in round two, and they worked hard to get there. Four of there games were decided by one point, and two games went into overtime. Badin took a big hit in week one last year when the Cincinnati bound QB Patrick Coyne was injured and missed most of the season. But back up senior Jeff Smith really stepped up at the position, he threw for 1429 yards and 12 touchdowns, including the postseason. He rushed for another 980 yards with 13 touchdowns. Badin loses alot on offense but does get back Max Adams who had 4 tocuhdowns and 171 recieving yards. Badin does return there leading sacker Casey Schappacher and there interception leader Luke Wurzelbacher. Badin opens the season with Woodward, then Taft and Edegewood.
