Strength of Schedule hurts rather than helps

The Northmont Bolts have picked up a schedule that has been one of the toughest in the state over the past four seasons. Since dropping long time rival Chaminade Julienne after the 2007 season, partly because of CJ's division 3 status. Northmont  has picked up games with Moeller, St. Ignatius, and Colerain. Just to name the powerhouses, Northmonts schedule has slated potential playoff matchups that the Bolts hoped would pay off. But a recent playoff drought has left alot of people wondering if Northmont is in over there head. Since the 2008 season they are only 4-7 in non conference games, and hasn't made it to the playoffs since 2008. Playing in region 4 makes their loses hurt alot more. When you play in the toughest playoff region in not only the state but possibly the nation, 3 or even 2 loses greatly affect playoff chances. Things are not to late for the Bolts though, despite taking on a very good Moeller team this friday the tough copetition will get them ready for a tough GWOC central race. With Centerville and Wayne also at 0-2 noone has taken there front running for who wants to be crowned champion
