Three players get invites to elite Nike camp

Middletown QB Jalin Marshall, and Trotwood's Cam Burrows and Michael McCray recieved an invitation to Nikes most elite camp this past weekend. The Opening is a combine and 7 on 7 tournament that takes place at Nikes headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Southwest Ohio is no stranger to this camp though. Last year Centerville's Ifeadi Odenigbo, Ben McGowan, Taft's Adolphus Washington, Dwayne Stanford, and Trotwood's Bam Bradley were all part of The Opening. The field is determined by the players who had the highest rating at Nike Sparq combines that have travled all around the country to find the naitons best players.
